Optimum Technologies Expands In-House Thermal Vacuum Test Capability
Optimum Technologies has expanded its spacecraft integration and test capabilities with in-house thermal vacuum (TVAC) testing at its Sterling, Virginia facility.
The capability provides controlled thermal-vacuum environments for qualification and acceptance testing of spaceflight hardware, supported by integrated data acquisition, monitoring, and control systems.
Bringing this capability in-house allows OpTech to integrate environmental testing more directly with spacecraft assembly, integration, and test activities — providing greater schedule flexibility, tighter coordination, and rapid access to engineering teams throughout the test campaign.
The facility has already supported flight-hardware testing, demonstrating the capability as part of OpTech’s broader end-to-end spacecraft integration and test infrastructure.
